It's been a busy start of the year for Hypertherm's engineering teams with not one, not two, but three new product introductions so far this year. Those products include a new LongLife air and oxygen plasma cutting system, a new CNC, and a new 3 kilowatt fiber laser system. Read on to find out more about these new Hypertherm products.
MAXPRO200
Hypertherm's MAXPRO200 is a 200 amp LongLife air and oxygen plasma system. The system—engineered for heavy duty, high capacity cutting and gouging—boasts the fastest cut speeds, best cut quality and lowest operating costs in its class. Additionally, the combination of LongLife technology and excellent Air/Air and O2/Air cut quality enables operators to cut more parts per hour and minimizes the need for secondary operations. Additional features of the MAXPRO200 include an intuitive one step interface and automatic gas control for consistent results without operator intervention, optional quick disconnect torches for fast consumable changes, four different torch options, and longer consumable life for a lower cost per part.
EDGE Pro Ti
The EDGE Pro Ti is a new CNC designed with integrated drives, motors, and multiple torch height control interface options.
This new CNC is ideally suited for small to medium sized cutting tables and works with all plasma systems including Hypertherm’s Powermax, HySpeed HSD130™ and new MAXPRO200. It includes features such as enhanced cutting process support for plasma, waterjet, and oxyfuel cutting methods, and supports Rapid Part™ technology when combined with a Hypertherm Sensor™ Ti or ArcGlide torch height control. In addition, automatic torch height adjustments ensure optimal consumable life and part quality without operator intervention. The system also contains new Hypernet connectivity enabling the use of True Hole™ technology when combined with an ArcGlide THC and HyPerformance Plasma HPRXD system. The Hypernet connectivity facilitates remote troubleshooting using a built in Remote Help™ function and standard wireless networking.
HyIntensity Fiber Laser HFL030
Our HyIntensity Fiber Laser HFL030 is a 3 kW cutting system with a recommended cut capacity of 3/4 inch (20mm) for mild steel, a 1/2 inch (12mm) for stainless steel, and 3/8 inch (10mm) for aluminum. Like all Hypertherm HyIntensity Fiber Laser systems, the HFL030 is specifically optimized for cutting applications. It ships with pre-developed cutting processes, and all the needed components for significantly simplified table integration and operation. As a result, the system can cut thicker materials in some cases much faster than many higher powered competitive systems. In other words, Hypertherm’s 3 kW system has the cut capacity of other 4 kW fiber laser systems without sacrificing cut quality.
