OPERATOR MANUALS

Do you struggle to find an operator’s manual on the Hypertherm website? You aren't alone. Believe it or not, our Technical Service team gets calls all the time from customers with just that problem. That's why, for our Spring issue, the team wanted to provide a quick guide to help you find the information you need. We hope this can potentially save you time (and a phone call) the next time you have a consumable, repair part, or system function question.

The first step to finding an Operators Manual for your system is to go to our website at www.hypertherm.com. Once there you have two options:

Option 1:

  1. Click the ‘Products’ tab at the top of the Hypertherm homepage.
  2. Choose your product family (Handheld Plasma, Mechanized Plasma, Laser, etc.)
  3. Choose the product sub-family, if applicable (e.g. HyPerformance, Oxygen, Air, Marking, etc.) If no product sub-family exists, as is true for Handheld Plasma, go to Step 4.
  4. Choose your product model (e.g. HyPerformance HPR800XD)
  5. From the red tabs at the bottom of the page, click the ‘Downloads’ tab
  6. You should see Operator Manuals as one option under ‘Downloads’, click the ‘+’ next to Operator Manuals to open the choice list.
  7. Find the manual needed for your system and hit the red 'Download' link

Option 2:

  1. Click on ‘Downloads Library’ from the options listed in the upper right hand corner of Hypertherm’s homepage, next to the search bar.
  2. Use the ‘Product Type’ drop down to find your system, and let it populate this field. Example: Select MAX200.
  3. A series of folders should appear at the bottom of the page, one of which is ‘Manuals’. Click on this folder.
  4. Continue to drill down into the ‘Manuals’ folder to get to the exact manual you need.

You can also download a manual by clicking the 'Service' tab at the top of the Hypertherm website, then 'Manuals' from the drop down menu.

If you have further questions about this technical tip, you can give the Hypertherm Technical Service team a call at 800-643-9878 or send an email to technical.service@hypertherm.com.
